Terms and Conditions

By booking with Diavoli Detailing you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions outlined below.

1. Service

1.1. Services are carried out inclusive of chemicals, travel, labour and insurance costs unless otherwise stated.

1.2. Diavoli Detailing does not accept any responsibility or liability for any malfunction, damage, injury, failure or loss that may arise from the services provided to the Client or the products used in our service.

1.3. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our services are carried out to the highest standard (according to the condition of a vehicle), the Client is advised to check the vehicle(s) upon completion of services. If there is any cause for dissatisfaction, the Client should point out the discrepancy to the operative, who will endeavour to correct work at that time to the best of their ability. No responsibility can be accepted Diavoli Detailing for omissions or discrepancies detected after the technician has left the Client’s premises. Should the services be carried out with the ‘Client not present’ and the Client has cause for complaint, the Client is asked to contact Diavoli Detailing within 24 hours of services. Should the Client fail to adhere to this time scale then Diavoli Detailing may decline to rectify any omissions or discrepancies. 

1.4. Prior to commencement of the service, the Client must disclose any known or suspected defects, damage or weakness in the vehicle which may be affected by our services.

1.5. As part of its policy to improve the quality of services, Diavoli Detailing reserves the right to alter specifications of any services without prior notice.

1.6. Personal items must be removed from the vehicle before services are carried out. Diavoli Detailing will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to items that may have been left in the vehicle.

1.7 Access to mains electricity supply and external water tap within 20 metres of the service area is required for the service. If this is not available, then the service cannot be provided. Please raise any concerns at the time of booking.

1.8 A suitable flat area to perform the service is required, often a covered area or garage is available to perform “dry elements of the service. If there is not suitable covered area or garage, a 6x4 metre walled gazebo or car cover can be set up. It will require at least 1 metre border around the perimeter of the fully extended structure. Please ensure there is access for this if required and ensure that it can be left standing for the duration of the service and for up to 24 hours after the job has been completed.

2. Prices

2.1. Prices stated on any advertising are indicative based on a medium sized vehicle in good condition and limited to the specific services outlined. 

2.2. Prices are tailored to the customer and their car, their specific requirements, size and condition of the car and services requested. Any price information in marketing material are indicative, and a formal written quote will always supersede these.

2.3. Written quotations will be provided and agreed to by the customer in writing before any booking is confirmed and a signed job sheet is required before work commences.

2.4. Prices are subject to change.  

2.5. Whilst Diavoli Detailing will endeavour to comply with any quotation or estimate given, vehicles in an extremely poor condition will attract an extra charge. This will be made clear to you prior to any work commencing and will require your signature on the recalculated job sheet to continue.

2.6. If the condition of the car changes between the quotation date and the service date (e.g. heavy soiling, scratching or pet hair etc.) then additional charges and additional time may apply. Any additional charges will be presented to the customer and agreed prior to work commencing.

3. Bookings, Cancellations and Payments

3.1. A 25% deposit is taken to secure the booking slot and the balance is made on the day upon completion of the work. 

3.2. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your booking within 7 days of the booking. If you cancel after this date no refund will be offered and the deposit cannot be transferred to another date. 

3.3. If Diavoli Detailing cancel the appointment, new dates will be offered for the service. If cancellation is within 24 hrs of the booking date, a refund of the deposit will be offered as an alternative to transferring the deposit to new dates. There will be no compensation or subsequent loss if Diavoli Detailing cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

3.4. When making payment using a debit or credit card your payment is processed using Sumup Payments Ltd.

3.5. Payment can be made by BACS transfer, debit card or credit card or cash.

3.6. Payments in any form, if returned or represented by the bank, will incur an administration charge of £30 per transaction.

Booking Process

 4. Licenses

4.1. Should it be required that a licence, permit, authorisation or permission be granted for services to be carried out at Clients premises, car park or other location, it is the responsibility of the Client to obtain any such licence, permission, authorisation or permit from the owner or operator of the premises, car park or other location.

4.2. The Client will be responsible for any payments/fines/fixed penalty ticket to the owners or operators of any such location. If any vehicle serviced by Diavoli Detail is disabled in any way at the Client’s premises, car park or other location, the client will be responsible for all costs involved in releasing the vehicle.

5. Insurance and Damage

5.1. Diavoli Detailing has public liability insurance and service indemnity, however, vehicles are cleaned at the clients own risk.

5.2. Diavoli Detailing will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill-fitting trim, loose or faulty parts or poor repairs etc. Please ensure you make us aware of any potential problems prior to starting our service.
